Best place to blow your New Year’s Resolution: This tiny, old-fashioned luncheonette in up-and-coming Little Burgundy offers weekday lunches, an evening wine bar, and Saturday morning brunch. With a small town feel and seating for (approx) 12, this little gem requires patience and planning. The Breakfast Sandwich, an herbed omelet topped with cheese, delicious homemade sausage, bacon, ham, and a fresh slice of tomato on toasted bun was outstanding. Kudos also to the Huevos Rancheros, a chili con carne dish with three poached eggs topped off with avocado scallion guacamole. The Cherry Coke was a touch too sugary and served from a can – a faux pas in my book – but the cappuccino was foamy, mild and delicious.
