Samosa and Sweet Factory

1850 Albion Rd., Etobicoke, ON, M9W 6J9

Rated this place:

Potluck pleasers: At four dollars a dozen, you’d be hard pressed to find a quicker, more affordable or more deliciously popular contribution to your holiday potluck at the office than the samosas at the Samosa and Sweet Factory. Located off the beaten track in a strip plaza in a largely industrial section of north Etobicoke (at 1850 Albion Rd.) since 1989, the wholesalers offer a wide variety of ready-made samosas, pakoras and sweets guaranteed to be the hit of any get together. Secret family recipes handed down through the generations ensure home-made flavour meets the convenience of fast food. I’m swinging by tomorrow to pick up a couple dozen for our Christmas potluck here at Toronto Community News.

Perola supermarket

247 Augusta Ave, Toronto, ON, M5T2L8

Rated this place:

Tortilla Shells: Their tortillas are cheaper than the grocery store's, larger than the grocery store's, and they taste better than the grocery store's.

And, once you're there, the shop is so colourful and full of exotic brands that you'll love looking around and browsing.

Isn't grocery shopping in Kensington the best?
