Fairview Mall

1800 Sheppard Ave E #330, North York, ON, M2J5A7

Rated this place:

Compared to Scarborough Town Centre...: ...this mall gets extra points for having free wifi accessible from the food court, where I am writing this review right now. Sure, it's technically connected to the Starbucks that is housed in the newly renovated food court, but any web access is better than none. For some reason, even the Forever 21 location here in Fairview holds a better selection than the seemingly bland pieces one would find at Yonge and Dundas. If you're looking for a better selection of clothing stores for the mid-price range, you'll find it here.

Woodbine Centre and Fantasy Fair

500 Rexdale Blvd, Etobicoke, ON, M9W6K5

Rated this place:

Are you going to Woodbine Fair?: Want to get away from the same old same old? This is the shopping centre for you. You can shop at all the great stores you normally would at any other mall, but you can make it a better experience for your kids as well. The Fantasy Fair, best know for its large ferris wheel, is the perfect way to bribe your kids to behave while you shop. If they behave while you try on 20 pairs of jeans, then they can spend an hour or two playing at the Fantasy Fair afterwards. It's a dirty trick ... but it works!
