Recently, my family and I traveled to Montreal and spent a weekend there. Some of the highlights were definitely visiting the Botanical Garden and the Montreal Insectarium. Also spent quite a bit of time in Chinatown and shopping in downtown.

Note: Best Ham Ever! In Montreal...

Montreal smoked meat sandwich: This is the most famous smoked meat restaurant in all of Montreal and it's been a local restaurant since the early 1920's. When we planned our first family trip there, this was for sure on the top of the list because of all the raves about it. Surely, it didn't disappoint!

Garden: Botanical garden is next to the Olympic Stadium, and it was high on our schedule of places to visit while in Montreal. Wow! The exihibits were terrific! The Chinese and Japanese Gardens was an amazing sight to see. One of the coolest parts was that they actually have Chinese Musicians playing live music.
