Stationery shop: Located in Westmount Square, this little shop houses a great variety of cards (including Hallmark's clever Fresh Ink line) and gifts.

Oink-Oink

Children's "boutique": I fav this with a grain of salt, because I do think this store is overpriced and overindulgent, but they have a beautiful selection of children's books, as well as an awesome selection of Thomas the Tank Engine and Playmobile accessories.

Winners

Luxe for Less - yes indeed!: Not all Winner's are created equal – some have better stock than others, and each Winner's addict has their own secret go-to local. In general however, there are many treasures to be found. On one shopping trip I noticed an array of Melissa & Doug wooden toys, Thomas the Tank Engine accessories, Hunter riding boots, Stella McCartney, Juicy Couture and Burberry perfume and body wash (among others), Purology hair products, Daily Gloss by Cargo, shaving products by L’Occitane en Province, Fendi belts, Prada luggage, Calvin Klein undies, and clothing by Pink Tartan, Robert Rodriguez, and Paige Premium Denim, to name a few. Although Winner's does not specify which brands it carries, you can be sure to find many of your favourite designer pieces for up to 60% off regular retail…and it our struggling economy, what could be a better answer to our couture prayers? When the going gets tough, the tough go to Winners.

Designer darlings: Upscale children’s boutique for only the most fashionable of kids (or the parents that dress them). Pom’Cannelle offers sophisticated and exclusive children’s clothing and footwear lines from France, Italy, England and Ireland, such as Burberry, LaCoste, and Armor Kids by France’s Armor Lux amongst North American haute darlings like DKNY, Diesel, and Juicy Couture. How about a fashionable miniature Juicy duffel coat for your pint-sized fashionista, or a baby Lacoste signature golf shirt for your burgeoning golf pro? Pom’Canelle dresses children and young teens from 3-16, and also carries a small selection of baby clothes and accessories.

Le Carrousel du Parc

Title: Small family-owned and operated boutique on Parc Avenue chock-full of strollers, baby joggers, car seats and other child care accessories. Featuring brands such as Perego, Britax, Graco, Cosco, Babybjörn and Robeez, Carrousel du Parc is located strategically close to sister-store ABC Cycles et Sport (5584 avenue du Parc), so repairs and new wheels are a breeze. Carrousel will repair any stroller as long as parts are available to order, and in addition, offers equipment to rent, and provides stroller washing service. Friendly and attentive staff members are knowledgeable, helpful, and seem to be on a first-name basis with legions of loyal clientele.
