Over the past couple of years, I've had quite some time to try out many places around my working 'hood. Here are some of my favourite lunch places. This is a constantly changing list, so come back to check it out!

Burrito Boyz -- CLOSED

120 Peter Street, Toronto, ON

Burrito, Lunch spots: They are huge! The price is very reasonable too!

Their large burritos give you that pleasant "I'm totally full" feeling

Lunch spots: Their lunch dishes are so varied, yet each one is unique and flavourful... I recommend it!

Pho Hung Restaurant

Pho: The quality of the noodles is always good and the soup base (essential!) is great.

Fusaro's Kitchen

147 Spadina Ave #108, Toronto, ON, M5V2L7

Lunch, Sandwiches: Their sandwiches, soup and pasta are all great. Make sure to get there before noon to beat the lineup though.

They really just taste that good. Well worth the extra price you pay over other sandwich spots. The soup was excellent as well.

Sweet Lulu

859 Queen St. W., Toronto, ON, M6J 1G4

Noodle house: They let you customize everything. I thought their Laksa soup was particularly good as a soup base.

Ravi Soup

322 Adelaide St. W, Toronto, ON, M5V 1R1

Lunch spot, Soup: Their soup wrap combo is killer. Both the soup and the wrap are really really good.

It's the best soup I can remember having outside of a pricey sitdown restaurant and might be better than any of those too.

Thai Princess Restaurant

387 King St W, Toronto, ON, M5V1K1

Rated this place:

Curry phad thai: It's one of the only place that offers it and I like phad thai, but not a huge fan of the typical tomato-type sauce that goes with it. Solution: Curry Phad Thai.

Goldstone Noodle Restaurant

266 Spadina Ave, Toronto, ON, M5T2E4

Cheap eats: They have big, tasty portions at a great price. Just don't expect the best decor!

Bangkok Paradise Restaurant

506 Queen St W, Toronto, ON, M5V2B3

Great for take-out: If you live or work closeby Bangkok Paradise makes for a great place to get take-out thai food. Their lunch specials are great value - lots of good thai food for a pretty low price. I especially favour their green curry.
