Just because the weather outside is miserable, doesn't mean you should be too.

Drop-in fencing classes: My friends and I were able to go there for a triple double date for $30 each. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and the lessons were extremely fun!

Mini golf course: This place is a glow-in-the-dark mini-golf course. Very fun to take anyone at any age, but my little cousins LOVED it. Tip: Wear lots of white, and bring someone who bleached their teeth to see if it glows (let me know if it works).

Playtime Bowl

Cosmic bowling: The location near Yorkdale Mall is so popular, you need to make sure you get there early, if you're there to play any day over the weekend and you're pressed for time. The best part about glow-in-the-dark bowling is that people won't notice if you're bad at it!

Casa Loma

Attraction to show out of town guests: It doesn't really matter how many times I've been here, each visit changes whenever I take someone to experience our urban castle for the first time. I love to show them the secret passageways and once in a while I'll discover a few new things for myself from the audio tours and by reading the informative plaques.

Rock Oasis

Indoor rock climbing: It's fun and affordable when you don't want to go see a movie! Test your limits!

Woodbine Centre and Fantasy Fair

Fantasy fair: This indoor attraction is the perfect place to take the kids on a rainy or snowy day. Remember to wear socks, no shoes are allowed if the kiddies want to explore the Play Village, a winding maze of slides and rope climbs. There's also a giant carousel, a ferris wheel, bumper boats, and more. My personal favourite that is no longer there -- the parachute drop. You will be missed.

Body Blitz

Exfoliate the stress away!: This photo isn't me, this is from their site, but I did get a body scrub from them and it was raw and wonderful. My skin never felt so soft. The process itself was funny because I felt like I was in a car wash. The best part is the service and water facilities; the staff are extremely friendly and before you have your appointment you can rotate around the pools for treatment. There's a green tea tub, salt water, an infra-red sauna, a steam room, and a shivering cold water pool.
