Place to embarrass myself for the amusement of others

Place to embarrass myself for the amusement of others: They host Teen Angst Night the first Tuesday of every month, a showcase of inadvertently hilarious teenage writing. We gather, under the watchful gaze of the fabulous Sarah Bynoe, to bare our wretched teenage souls and laugh at each other. Its always super funny and really embarrassing. My favorite line from my 14 year old diary is 'I am a nobody. A nobody no boy wants. Billy, Ken, Mike Jeff, James. None of them care if I live. So why should I?' Golden. And everyone elses' stuff is way better.

Late night comfort food

Late night comfort food: I often get pho cravings when I have stayed out way, way too late and need serious refueling. This place is guaranteed to be open (except between 7am and 9am)and is always busy with a slightly party-like atmostphere late at night! The decor is dominated by the neon lights which is very fitting and somehow comforts me. The pho is tasty and cheap. I can eat a lot and the large usually fills me pretty good!

Public art (natural setting)

Public art (natural setting): Minotaur vs Hare was originally part of the vancouver biennale, that included the upside down church sculpture and headless walking men, this sculpture rates high on beauty, impact and creativity but low on climbability. Luckily it has a lovely little grass labyrinth to make up for this shortcoming!
