Sports bar: It is the biggest, baddest sport bar you have ever seen. Simply put, if you can't be at the game, be there. It's owned by Woodbine, where I work, but I would stand by the above recommendation even if I didn't!

Thai food: Although it can be inconsistent, it is still the best I have found in Toronto. Make sure you ask for some Nam Pla Prik if you like your Thai a little spicier.
