Thai food: Well, this one's a tossup because I have other favorite Thai places, but the clever dishes here and above all, the friendly welcome put ftt over the top. The veggie dishes are particularly creative. Try the Emerald Curry & the Spicy Eggplant.

Men's clothing boutique: I have to give a shout-out to these guys for the most comfortable shopping experience for a guy looking for clothes without the stress. What other clothing store has a cigar shop? Who else tells better jokes? And most of all thanks guys for helping out with alterations and things like that, with a smile.

Ice: OK, this is rather second hand, but in a discussion of the quality of cooler ice for sailors, my Dad tells me this anecdote about his friend finding the "best ice" at the marina in Deseronto, ON. The block of ice they sold him was so cold, it froze all the water in the bottom of his cooler, and kept it frozen for two days. Need a block of ice? Consider Deseronto Marina, or so I'm told.
