Rated this place:

218 Adelaide Street West, Toronto, ON, M5H 1W7

Poutine: Brand new poutinerie on Adelaide right above Burrito Boys. Amazing new kinds of poutine. I recommend the traditional, Hogtown version-sausage, onions, bacon and mushrooms. Also check out the pulled pork poutine. I will report back when I have tried others. http://smokespoutinerie.com/

Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar, Restaurant

Rated this place:

9 Church St., Toronto, ON, M5E 1M2

Gourmet poutine, Meal: Ive had Rabbit, Chorizo, and pulled pork poutines at JKWB and although not a traditional poutine, who cares, JK rules at making fries and poutine, best poutines we've ever had.

Love the Tapas style and eveything on the menu has wonderful flavor. One of our fave restaurants in town. Amazing Duck Confit, JK makes the best sauces for his dishes in town.

Loblaws Supermarkets Limited

Rated this place:

2877 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON

Chain grocery store: I usually prefer to go to a market or something for groceries but when I don't have the time and I need a lot of produce I go to the Loblaws at Queens Quay and Jarvis. It by far has the best produce section of other groceries stores in the same category. They have a lot of produce that is sometimes more difficult to find at a regular grocery store. Usually it is pretty fresh, seems they have a higher quality standard than most.

Caplansky's

Rated this place:

356 College St., Toronto, ON, M5T 1S6

Montreal smoked meat sandwich: Zane, the owner makes the best smoked meat sammie in T.O from my experience. The meat is tender and tastes like REAL smoke! Its inside the Monarch Tavern and there is alot of hype which is justified. If you dont like a fatty sandwich, ask Zane to make it lean. http://www.flickr.com/photos/themkt/2651279288/

Food haven: The food Building in the Exhibition is absoluetly AWESOME. They have such a range of things, I reccomend going with a fellow foodie who enjoys the same tastes as you so then you can get lots and share! They have everything from roti, chinese, sandwiches, fudge, shawarma, gyros, fresh made potato chips, too many waffle and ice cream treats, and of course one of my faves, BEAVER TAILS (cinn and sugar is the best).
