British Style Fish & Chips

Rated this place:

73 Coxwell Ave, Toronto, ON, M4L3B1

Fish and chips: This one is hard for me, I have a hard time finding a place where I like both the fish and the chips and this is the closest I have come, the fish is by far my favorite. The chips are good, but not perfect.

Corned Beef House

Rated this place:

303 Adelaide St W, Toronto, ON, M5V1P7

Corned beef sandwich: Very moist and flavorful. What I like better about this place than some others is their crust is soft enough to bite into, some rye bread the crust is really hard and you can't get a good bite.

Il Fornello

Rated this place:

576 Danforth Av, Toronto, ON, M4K1R1

Gluten free pasta: My mom is a celiac and she comes to visit me in Toronto often and she has never had comparable rice pasta at a restaurant, Il fornello is a treat for her!!! If you like pasta and you can't eat gluten it is a good choice.

Sushi Bon

Rated this place:

695 College Street, Toronto, ON, M6G1B9

Sushi delivery: The best delivery I have found so far in my neighbourhood. I really like the crispy spicy salmon or tuna roll, and the shrimp and cucumber roll.

18 Bellair St, Toronto, ON, M5R2C7

Teppanyaki: The fried rice is something I often crave, be sure to upgrade from plain steamed rice. The sushi and the teppanyaki are both great!

Alexandros Take-Out

Rated this place:

5 Queens Quay W, Toronto, ON, M5J2H1

Chicken gyro: It is a very good late night eat, they are usually open very late. Do not go to the one on Queens Quay though, the Danforth one is the best. There is a very big difference between locations.

Burger Shoppe

Rated this place:

688 Queen St. E., Toronto, ON, M4M1G9

Burger: The burgers are made of very good beef and all the toppings are fresh and tasty. A little pricey so I don't reccomend their sides.......just the burgers.

The Big Chill

Rated this place:

367 Manning Avenue, Toronto, ON, M6G 1A1

Ice cream: I love it here!!! It is all so good, some of my faves are of course caribou tracks, it usually has an obscene amount of fudge in it! Espresso robusto is the most amazing in my opinion though, great!

Gandhi Roti

Rated this place:

554 Queen St W, Toronto, ON, M5V2B5

Roti: The chicken roti is soooooooo good but their butter chicken roti is honestly one of the best things I have ever eaten! Be careful even if you like things hot, even the medium hot is crazy. Also try the samosas when they have a fresh batch.

Greg's Ice Cream

Rated this place:

750 Spadina Ave, Toronto, ON, M5P2X4

Ice cream: Their ice cream is so creamy and smooth. It almost tastes like hard soft ice cream it is so creamy. I suggest trying the roasted marshmallow, it tastes exactly like one roasted at a campfire. It takes a few bites to get used to the unusual flavor so give it a chance, you will love it! I also recently tried the toffe coffe and it was excellent! It tasted like a really good latte.

Naz's Falafel House

Rated this place:

118 John St, Toronto, ON, M5V2E3

Chicken shawarma/falafel: The chicken is very tender and well seasoned and the gyro is really good as well. They both come with this really tangy garlic sauce that is awesome. The falafel is just as special!

Dino's Wood Burning Pizza

Rated this place:

820 The Queensway, Etobicoke, ON, M8Z 1N5

Pizza: Right when you walk in the door you are greeted with the lovely smell of burning wood. Dino has some of the best if not the best crust in the city because there is a nice smoke flavor and the sauce soaks into the top half of the crust. His sauces are fresh and Dino is a really nice guy to boot. Wood or coal oven is the best way to do pizza no doubt. 820 Queensway

Kubo Radio - CLOSED

Rated this place:

894 Queen St. East, Toronto, ON, M4M 1J3

Cupcakes: We used to be fans of the cupcake shoppe because they have a cute little shop and pretty cupcakes. But I would give it to Babycakes for sure on flavor. If you get them on the day they were made they are very good. All flavors were very good and the cake was very moist. Although I dont like that they refrigerate them after they have been baked, it doesnt effect the flavor or good texture. enjoy!
