Casual business meeting spot, Place to read, Smoked salmon sandwich

Casual business meeting spot, Place to read, Smoked salmon sandwich: They have nice tables that are round which makes the conversation more personal. Great coffee and near where most of my meetings seem to happen.

You feel like you are in Paris surrounded by delicious food, a great crowd and often classical music

They make it on wholewheat grain bread with delicious onions and a mustard ... really exceptional!

Cookie, Raisin bran muffin

Cookie, Raisin bran muffin: Wow! it is sinfully delicious and full of ultra rich, gourmet chocolate. Really - if you are going to surrender to chocolate, this is the way to go!

Raisin bran muffins are usually the ones that are for the health freaks. This one is a taste sensation. think they may even add dates to it. I mistakenly enquired about the nutritional info on the muffin and lets just say I will be moving from 1 a day to 1 a week ;-)

Indian restaurant

Indian restaurant: I had seen this place faved a couple of times on Ourfaves and it is in my neighbourhood - it is definitely fave-worthy! Walked in there this eve at 6:30PM and it was packed - always a good sign. The food was delicious, very fresh and made with wonderful spices. We had the signature onion naan, chana masala, chicken tikka and a tomato soup. All were outstanding. Will definitely go back.

Gourmet take out: It just opened in my hood! The decor is very hip and tasteful, they have a good eye for design. The food spectacular. I ordered a delicious take out dinner from them tonight - a gourmet meal for 3 that consisted of slow cooked ribs, gourmet green beans, wheatberry salad, antipasto and a delicious yam lasagna. All were really fresh and great. Not cheap but totally reasonable on the gourmet scale and worth it!

Trendy bistro: This place is delightful. The pink interior, beautiful high top seating, great bistro menu, delicious wine list and fine looking waitstaff make this place a fine choice for a lovely night out . It reminds me of the Beaconsfield yet brighter. I had the burger and it was excellent. Oh yeah - They even make their own ketchup.

Salmon tartar

Salmon tartar: It certainly is different. It was salmom sashimi with creme fraiche and caviar - how fancy! It is visually very attractive. Interestingly enough, they serve it with chopped egg and capers. I would recommend it as a light lunch / appetizer.
