Thai: It is run by this wonderful family and they are committed to healthy, delicious food that is all freshly prepared with an open window into their spotless kitchen. A great take out place or a cute place to have a quick bite sitting at the window seats. Highly recommend it!

Lounge: Looks are deceiving ... from the outside it looks like a real dive and to my pleasant surprise... the inside is just the opposite. A real cool vibe, stylishly retro design, and a real good hip neighborhood crowd. The booths are awesome but buyer beware... a little diffficult to get served from but worth the wait.

It is consistently amazing food, service and vibe. Always so good! My fav dish is this grilled veal and pasta - a winner every time!

It is the real deal - so fresh and creamy -- mmm... drooling just thinking about it

Pool hall: Great place to play pool in the city. Funky retro design, a little more upscale, and a great ambiance. I think they re-did it awhile ago and it sure looks nice.

Event space: The space has just been redone (by Restaurant Makeover) and it is breathtaking. There are 2 floors and a patio. The decor is miminalist yet warm. It has room for 100 + guests on the upstair floor alone. If you need a venue for this area - it seems to be a good option! I fell in love with it last night. I need to host an out of town dinner party for my wedding and this place is so far the best choice. The owners seem nice and quite flexible.

Hidden patio, Wrap: Who knew this delicious diner had a mini oasis at the back! Perfect spot to not be found...

Love this place! It is tempting to not eat healthy there since they are known for their perogies and grilled cheese. However... their wrap with goat cheese, spinach and chicken was delicious!

French restaurants, Steak frites: It is incredible food, especially their steak frites, charming as hell - you feel like you are in a small French village and the best part is it is so unpretencious unlike most French restaurants in the city. My fave for sure!

Out of this world! Really... so authentic and delicious. The fries are small and crispy. The steak they melt a tomato flavored butter on top of it - the french do the steak frites the best!

Event space: The 3rd floor is a private room available for rent for groups under 65 people. The room has a great pool table, private bar, awesome antique-y, vintage couches and ornaments. Super fun space. We just threw a party for the Who Loves the Sun premiere there last night... Great success!

Fries, Wings: They are the perfect blend of salt and crispiness... goes done well with the delicious wings and the hot sauce.

They are sinfully delicious. You never feel great afterwards but it is all in the anticipation of them... the smell, the sauce, the first bite. I like to get them crispy and sauce on the side - it makes for a very tasty wing! Remember hot is very hot! So medium... is a good hot ;-) The guy next to me had DEATH ... it wasn't pretty!

Japanese restaurants, Sushi places, Tuna carpaccio: They offer an amazing selection of Japanese appetizers. I had the agedashi tofu, ohitashi spinach, the pickled radishes and sonomuno salads and they were outstanding.

Really fresh, delicious sushi! Truly outstanding. HIghly recommend it if you are looking for a good sushi place that is not "cheap eats" nor is it "fine dining".

It is so fantastic - the freshest tuna with crispy onions and a delicious japanese miso dressing.
