Green curry, Pad thai, Thai take-out: Really fresh and flavorful. Not too spicy but I am sure if you wanted it more spicy it could be.

Fantastic pad thai.Awesome for take out - they are speedy gonzales... and delicious!

If you live in the downtown core, this place rocks... especially when you are hungry since the deliver super fast and the food is really really good!

Deli, Deli cold cut meat: They have an awesome selection of the best cold cuts and deli staples - corned beef, montreal smoked beef, chopped liver, salami etc. It is a true Thornhill establishment. Everything is so delicious.

Their montreal smoked meat and brisket is amazing!

Bar food, Dessert, Place to read: They have a delicious menu.... try the amazing fish taco, the lobster sushi, mmmmm.... good!

OK I think I had my all time favourite dessert today at the Drake. It was a little bit of all things delicious. A shot of pure chocolate, a cup of creme brulee, a chocolate tart, a lemon tart and to end it off a nut wrapped chocolate icecream bar. Does it get better than this?

Big comfy couches that you can fall into in the winter and awesome lounge chairs on the patio in the summer... not so busy on the weekend in the days so there is enough peace and quiet to get deep into a good book

Vegetarian restaurant: I have never seen a fine dining restaurant that specializes in vegan cuisine. The presentation of the food is unbelievable, the dishes are fantastic and super creative. The ambience is magnficent... highly recommend it even if you aren't a vegan, the food is worth going for ... it is easy to give up meat once in awhile for a place like this.

The coffee shop is delightful. It feels as if you are in someon'es lovely kitchen. But most importantly... the coffee is outstanding! The guy who runs is super nice and friendly.... It is great to be supporting local business and having the best cup o java...!

Dance party with feist, Live music venues: Feist rocks! She invited a whole bunch of people to dance on the stage with her at her show at Massey Hall.

It has the best acoustics. It has old world charm. No matter where you sit in there - you have a great seat. And really great acts play there! By far my fave place!

Lunch spots: Delightful slice of Japanese urban life. It feels like you are in Tokyo (although I have never been). Great healthy choices, lots of brown rice, salad rolls etc. They have a couple places to sit and an incredible selection of slick design magazines for while you wait for your food. Great hidden gem.

Wedding venues: It is larger than life ... the building has sooo much character as it is made of beautiful stone, the courtyard is spectacular, the great hall has the most amazing gothic chandeliers and the windows are beautiful stained glass. We are having our wedding there and the moment I walked into the building I fell in love with it!

Sundowner, View of the city: The view is spectacular and the drinks are delicious. It is really old world charm at its best.

The hotel has a smallbar on the 20 something floor that has a really cool old school vibe - plush wood and rich burgundy couches. Perfect place to sip scoth and smoke cigars. It has a beautiful patio that has the most awesome view of the city. Great date place!

Indian fusion, Indian fusion: WOW! Who new that Indian and italian could be so delicous! The restaurant is beautiful and really big. The food was out of this world and so creative. My fave dishes were Duck risotto, Tika Consomme, and the curried sea basss. Definitely a fave.
