Faves (13)
Madison Ave Pub
14 Madison Ave., Toronto
Huge pub, it feels like you're at a giant house party in this old victorian building. Always a great crowd and a good time!

The Red Room
444 Spadina Ave., Toronto
Good crowd, relaxed atmosphere, cheap food, friendly servers and cheap pitchers of sangria and beer! Great if you just want to have a chill night with friends, or a cheap dinner.

Barberella
891 Dundas Street West, Toronto
I love this salon- great hair stylists. It's really small and cute. Amazing art work on the walls, exposed brick, antique furniture- really nice vibe and friendly people.

Bistro 333
333 King W, Toronto
Fave Picture Best place to go with friends when you can't decide what type of food you want. They have a huge menu, with something for everyone. They even have a pub-style food menu for those who aren't looking to spend a lot of money. Great martinis as well!

Sneaky Dee's
431 College St., Toronto
Fave Picture Best mexican food in Toronto. Great nachos. Also, Sneaky Dee's upstairs is the best place to dance when you're feeilng buzzed with your friends. I used to go there for its amazing mexican food and cheap beer, until I discovered the upstairs bar/club which is always filled with cool people to dance and chat with.

Fave Picture She's not just from video on trial.... I've seen her stand up comedy several times and she is by far one of the best comedians I've ever seen. She never fails to make me laugh (until I'm almost crying). Her jokes are so relatable, and she comes across as very genuine on stage.

Exile
20 Kensington Av, Toronto
Fave Picture Located in Kensington market, I go to exile for all my wardrobe staples. They have tons of american apparal clothing for a bit cheaper than you'd pay at the retail store. I get all of my a.a. sweatshirts there as well as my basic tees and leggings. Great for vintage clothes as well.

Blue Banana Market
250 Augusta Avenue, Toronto
Fave Picture Best kept secret- home decor, art and much more, mostly designed by local Toronto artists. Relatively affordable, and so worth paying a bit more to have one of a kind pieces for your home. You can find anything in this place, and everything is very unique.

Bier Markt
58 The Esplanade, Toronto
Fave Picture The Bier Markt is always a fun place to go when you just want to relax and have some casual drinks with friends. There is an amazing selection of beer on draft, and each comes in its own different pint glass. It's good for large groups as well, they'll seat you at huge benched tables in the back. I recommend the cheese fondue as well!

Village Idiot Pub & Grill
126 McCaul, Toronto
Fave Picture I love this place! They have tons of beer on tap and the staff is always so friendly. Best atmosphere when you want a relaxed night of drinking with your friends. Typical pub environment. The food is also really good and surprisingly cheap!
