Dessert bar, Treat: The Skor bars here are ridiculously good. This is a great place for lunch or to grab a dinner to go. The staff are friendly and the food is fantastic.

Thai delivery: Such quick delivery, good food, great prices! I love the hot and sour soup (half the price of the soup at Real Thailand, my other fave). The menu says they only deliver after 4pm, but they've always been happy to deliver my lunch when I call mid day.

Bookstore: It's simply the best Indigo in the city - huge, nicely located, always something going on (book signings, etc). My favourite place to kill time before the movies! (It's right beside the Varsity Theatre and the Bloor Street Diner.)

Travel company: I recently took the VIA 1 train to Montreal on a business trip, and fell in love. A gourmet meal, comfy seat and drink service throughout the ride...the hours flew by. If only it didn't cost so damn much...when I'm paying my own fare, it will be back on the regular car for me!

Old school band t-shirts: Racks upon racks of vintage (or vintage-esque) band t-shirts featuring The Clash, The Ramones et al, plus a huge selection of vintage jackets and shoes. You might not find a ton of clothes for yourself here if you're female, but it's a good place to shop for the boyfriend if he is so inclined to such things.

Posh lunch place: Definitely not the sort of place I'd grab lunch every day (it would take my whole paycheque to cover a week's meals!) but wow, lovely place for a special occasion. No matter which company throws a luncheon here, I RSVP yes! Great food and superstar atmosphere - I love it!
