Greek food: Anatoli's is a great family run Greek restaurant who know and love good food. The chicken lemon soup is the best in the city, the pita is warm and fresh, the chicken souvlaki is perfectly good and the service is friendly.

Oldest chinese bakery: I live for Chinese pastries. Whether it's a lotus bun, a pineapple bun, or a red bean bun, I have yet to be dissapointed. This gem is Chinatown's oldest bakery and seems to have a long list of regulars.

Korean food: This tiny restaurant on Queen West has a family-run feel to it. The service is great and they serve all of my favorite Korean dishes including a great Bi Bim Bap. Every meal is ended with a homemade shot of a hot, sweet, cinnamon drink with pine nuts, that the server told me her grandmother used to make.

Grilled seafood: You have to love a place that grills fresh seafood right before your eyes. I always order the grilled salmon that they smother with a blend of garlic and herbs after grilling it to perfection. It is the closest you can get to heaven at lunchtime.
