Trendy lounge

Trendy lounge: Very trendy lounge, and because this location is the test kitchen for the franchise, the menu is quite diverse. For example, they have Hibachi wings – basically chicken wings but they bring it to you with a small hibachi burner and you can roast the wings some more at your table. For the guys, there’s plenty of eye candy as well.

Shark Club

Rated this place:

180 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC, V6B 4P4

Sports and dancing

Sports and dancing: Located only a block away from GM Place, the Shark Club is a long-time favorite for Canucks fans. On game nights, the place is so packed, it almost feels like you’re at the game. The best part is, once the game is over, they clear out the dance floor and play some classic 80’s rock! Win or lose, it’s party time!

Cactus Club Cafe

Rated this place:

588 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC, V7X 1M

Westcoast pockets: Separate from the restaurant they have a lounge with multiple flat screen TV’s. I like this place because the crowd is good, the drinks are cold and the servers are hot. I usually order the Westcoast Pockets, their take on Inari Sushi but stuffed with fresh salmon sashimi.

Smiley O'Neal's Irish Whiskey Bar

Rated this place:

911 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC, V6C 1M2

Irish pub

Irish pub: Smiley’s is a favorite for the afterwork crowd. Like any good Irish pub, there’s a huge selection of beverages. My favorite part of this place is the wall-size TV to watch the game.

G Sports Bar and Grill

Rated this place:

1208 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC, V6Z 1M4

Granville game night

Granville game night: Despite this spot being a known hangout for Oilers fans, G-Sport is actually a nice little pub on the Granville entertainment strip. There are food and drink specials on game nights and lots of big screen TV’s. I love their burger here. Very juicy.

Earls Paramount Restaurants

Rated this place:

905 Hornby Street, Vancouver, BC, V6Z 1V3

Sweet chili chicken

Sweet chili chicken: Beautiful plasma screens – and beautiful people – all over the restaurant. Good, cold beer, and for the early games, wings are on special (from 3 PM to 6 PM). My favorite game food though is the Chili Chicken – it’s a big plate of real chicken tenders (not the frozen stuff) and soaked in sweet chili sauce.

Boston Pizza

Rated this place:

180 Rimrock Rd, North York, ON, M3J3J9

Place to watch the game and win free stuff: I started going to this Boston Pizza during the Stanley Cup run in 1994. I love going to this location because it’s always a good time and they usually have fun contests to win free Canucks stuff or get your meal paid for.

The Five Point

Rated this place:

3124 Main Street, Vancouver, BC, V5T 3G7

Big wings: It’s a nice neighborhood pub on trendy Main St. It’s small but there’s always a good crowd of Canucks fans that go there to watch the game. When I go, I always order their wings, which are massive! Go early though or you won’t get a seat.

Schanks Sports Grill

Rated this place:

350 Gifford Street, New Westminster, BC, V3M 7A3

Sports bar: Schanks is probably the biggest sports bar I’ve ever been to. There are seriously a hundred screens around the bar and you can watch the game with hundreds of Canucks fans. During the intermissions, you can get up and play some mini-golf too.

The Delta Lion Pub

Rated this place:

11186 84 Avenue, Delta, BC, V4C 2L7

Neighbourhood pub

Neighbourhood pub: Another old-time favorite of mine. The food and drinks are cheap (I recommend the beef dip), but I mainly come here because of the passionate Canucks fans that live in the neighborhood that come to the DLP to watch the games.
