Vagabondo Italian Ristorante + Lounge

Rated this place:

32 Wellington St E, Toronto, ON, M5E1C6

Italian cuisine: Great chic restaurant. Ambiance was exceptional. Service was okay, but the food was pretty good. You can pick between a full dinner or an appetizer dinner size if you're like me and can't eat TOO much pasta. I had the fetuccine al salmone. It was okay, but the stay was nice. My friend had the gnocchi, and I found that to be really good.

Hyde Lounge

Rated this place:

420A Wellington Street West, Toronto, ON, M5V 1E3

Nightlife: Hidden in a sketchy little alleyway, Hyde Lounge is a nice lounge that plays Top 40 music on Friday nights. The decor is classy with its red finishing.

The Hornero Restaurant

Rated this place:

528 YONGE ST, Toronto, ON, M4Y1Y5

Italian cuisine: A small Italian cuisine restaurant found at the corner of Yonge and Wellesley. Exceptional service, and great food for a great price. Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there. Would definitely go there again.

Hot House Cafe

Rated this place:

35 Church St, Toronto, ON, M5E1T3

Great selection.: My friends and I enjoyed the great food at Hot House Cafe last summer on the patio. The pasta and calamari are suggested. Great place to go to to chat with friends. Apparently there's a live jazz band and buffet there. I may have to go again to try it out.

Indian Flavour

Rated this place:

123 Dundas St. West. 2nd Fl, Toronto, ON, M5G 1C2

Indian food: It was an okay place to eat. Went here for lunch with a few co-workers. Had the buffet. It was filling, but wasn't the best Indian food that I had. It was mediocre. The pakora tasted a litt bit off.

Konnichiwa

Rated this place:

Japanese cuisine: Nice little place, however, HORRIBLE service. Did not enjoy my stay here. Waitresses did not comprehend what we were talking about.

Margarita's Fiesta Room

Rated this place:

14 Baldwin St, Toronto, ON, M5T1L2

Mexican cuisine: A little cute restaurant on Baldwin Street that serves Mexican cuisine. I had the calamari palentes, and I thought it was amazing. The food was delicious and the margaritas, sangria, and daquiris were amazing - and served in a fish bowl glass! Great way to spend the afternoon and evening on a gorgeous (almost) summer day.

Sweet Dreams Teashop

Rated this place:

170 University Ave W #14, Waterloo, ON, N2L3E9

Bubble Tea: Small little teashop always selling funky things. They have great service -- the waitresses area always bubbly and cheerful. They're the only bubble tea place that I know that will mix flavours for you.

W Hotel Montreal

Rated this place:

901 Square Victoria, Montreal, QC, H2Z 1R1

Boutique hotel

Boutique hotel: Funky decor, amazing service. My brother, his fiancee, and I had an amazing stay at the W hotel last winter in Montreal. I was blown away by the amazing decor that they had from the lounge to the rooms that they had. Good thing that my brother and I had different rooms -- the showers were see through, which would've been quite awkward.Other than that, beautiful place to stay in.

Princess Cinemas

Rated this place:

46 King Street North, Waterloo, ON

Indie films: It's rare for me to find a place that places indie films. Surprisingly, Waterloo's little gem is the Princess Cinemas. They play all the indie films that you're just trying to find for a cheap price. They also play some cult classics such as the Rocky Horror Picture Show during Halloween.Great date place.

Cute little dresses

Cute little dresses: I have this bad tendency to walk into this store and always coming out with something. They have a lot of cute and pretty formal dresses for your cocktail party needs.

Rated this place:

311 Saint-Paul Street East, Montreal, QC, H2Y 1H3

French cuisine: A small, fancy, upper class restaurant in Old Montreal. AMAZING food. Great date place to bring someone. However, it is on the pricier side of things. I would definitely suggest the foie gras and the creme brulee.

The people are amazingly nice and they have great service. I would definitely recommend Holly. She's an amazing hairstylist there and gave me exactly the haircut that I wanted!

Matagali Restaurant

Rated this place:

69 Elm St, Toronto, ON, M5G1H2

Indian & Thai Cuisine: Close to hospital row, this restaurant is hidden underneath a few run-down looking houses on Elm St. This restaurant serves both Indian & Thai cuisine. I had the curry with tilapia. It was amazing. The tandoori chicken is suggested as well. Service there was very good, and the price is quite cheap as well.

Matahari Grill

Rated this place:

39 Baldwin St, Toronto, ON, M5T1L1

Malaysian Cuisine: Had the achar-achar, and it was quite good. However, the service here was horrible. Even though we had a large group with us, they were treating us quite horribly. Service was slow as well.

Rated this place:
