The Bourbon

Rated this place:

50 West Cordova, Vancouver, BC, V6B 1C9

Bar: It's a bit of a risk, and a bit of a 'dive' but it's always home to good times every time I've been. Booths for sitting, chatting, and drinking. Pool tables are at the back. Usually some good DJ's got the tables spinning and the people dancing. Good fun for low cover charge, which is hard to find around here these days.

El Kartel

Rated this place:

121A-1025 Robson Street, Vancouver, V6E 4A9

Robson street boutique: The most amazing and help staff to help pick out the hippest street wear around. the shoes are a steal and both women's and men's clothing collection is a must see.

The Eatery

Rated this place:

3431 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V6R2B4

Japanese restaurant

Japanese restaurant: Seriously, anyone who has dared admit they have tried almost everything on the menu is either lying, or a very very frequent customer. the eatery is always a delight; ranging from the great service, to the delicious main dishes, and finishing off with a deep fried mars bar doesn't hurt either. the menu is innovative, with numerous different rolls to try and a good variety for everyone. the art is contemporary, and the music is always reminding me of a very addictive mixtape.

Trout Lake

Rated this place:

3350 Victoria Drive, Vancouver, BC, V5N4M4

Neighbourhood park: One of the city's friendliest dog parks! it's nice to stroll or ride the bike around at any time of the day. Usually quiet and calm and always good for picnics in the summer. don't go swimming in the water though, unless you're that adventurous.

Gastown

Rated this place:

Between Homer Street (west), Columbia Street (east), Cordova Street (south) and Water Street (north), Vancouver, BC, V6B-

Neighbourhood: Wait, can I have 3 favourite neighbourhoods in the city? Gastown will be one of the top 3. Acting as the city's tourist and historical cultural hub, the authentic feel of this neighbourhood is alluring. A main tourist attraction for the Steam Clock, Gastown has turned into a mini shopping district and nightlife district as well. One of my favourite things to do is strolling with a coffee in hand through this little area during the fall just as the weather is changing. Try it for yourself.

The Commodore Ballroom

Rated this place:

868 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC, V6Z 1K3

Indoor concert venue: I can't count the number of concerts I've seen here, but I will try my best. Nope, can't do it. The Commodore Ballroom is situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, amongst the hustle bustle of Granville Street. Bands new and old, all make a pitstop at the ballroom. The sound is great, the dancefloor provides ample space, and the balcony is good for the more laidback concertgoers. Home to definitely some outstanding concerts and music in the city.

JJ Bean

Rated this place:

1689 Johnston Street, Vancouver, BC

Coffee shop: They make the most heart pounding 'shots in the dark' which is essentially an americano and instead of water, coffee is added...try it today, you'll be instantly addicted. drink with caution, and do not operate heavy machinery afterwards. and the comfy, ski lodge like set up of the interior decor doesn't hurt either.
