Theatre: I loved their acoustics, and colorful backdrops/props. It is important to have comfy seats for long plays, and this one does. Very well decorated foyer and easily accesible venue. But the sound system is what makes it for me at theatre productions.

Public space: Any visitor should make at least one trip here. The older ferries are grand, that is a fine experience by itself, and the island had so much to offer, beach, fountains, beautiful greenery and flowers and areas to get sun. Very very lush gardens all over the island. If you have kids, Centreville is the place to take them, old world "Pioneer' theme park with fun rides, and CHEAP! It's a very well planned and entertainment-friendly island. Picnics are fun and very friendly for the aged and immobile

Park for an afternoon: The sun, the sky, water, and soil, all in the same area. I find it very refreshing to be away from the city's pollution and honking cars. The dogs and children are plenty and makes me feel very family-like and happy. The parks are always well manicured and clean, I just bring a rug and lie down with a nice book, and the boardwalk is down the road.

Ontario Science Centre

Major attraction: Fell in love with the place at my first visit when I was 12. Hi-tech games and competitions, specially playing fast chess with the computer. Amazing skill development and physics and chemistry experiments displayed. Don't miss the one on electricity. One day is not enough. Prices are a bit steep, but once every few years is worth the new tech and scientific theorems I get when I go there.
