Village Idiot Pub

Rated this place:

126 Mccaul St, Toronto, ON, M5T1W2

Baldwin village pub: In the summer this place is especially great if you can score a window seat. It's just a run-of-the-mill pub but I have good memories there and like I said those window seats are key in the summer because it's like being on patio only with more artsy and creative eye candy.

The Healthy Butcher

Rated this place:

565 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON, M5V2B6

Chicken breasts: So yes it's a little more expensive than No Frills No Name chicken breasts, but believe me knowing it's hormone-free, free range and grain-fed makes it taste so much better. I've never had juicier chicken in my life. In the warmer months, there's always some hotty, hippy Bellwoods guys stocking up on BBQ meat.

Pilot Tavern

Rated this place:

22 Cumberland St, Toronto, ON, M4W1J5

Summer patio

Summer patio: The rooftop patio has a great view, is in Yorkville but not a snobbish crowd. Sometimes you see MTV staff there. The food is alright and the prices are low for the area. Good vibes! The picture is of the sky one night from the Pilot rooftop.

HoSu Bistro

Sushi: Key location on Queen, quiet, fast service, amazing prices. A whole boat of sushi, tempura, sashimi and rolls for $15.

Czehoski

Rated this place:

678 Queen W, Toronto, ON, M6J1E5

Vodka shots: Hello it's a freakin Polish name. Of course this is a good place to go for vodka. Plus it's "trendy" or whatever, so the bartenders are kind of wanks, but it's a good place to pit-stop and refuel on some vodski. Located on Queen West so there's tons of places you can go to after. Or you can stop by on your way to the TB park!

Spice of Life

Rated this place:

84 Yorkville Avenue, Toronto, ON, M5R1B9

Thai food: Chicken pad thai is amazing! Use the hot spicy sauce that comes with it. Also very yummy emerald curry with mint sauce. Cheap shots of whiskey. Lower level location. Very quiet, but apparently a hot spot for celebs on the DL staying in surrounding hotels.
