Cheap Canada Day Celebrations

Toronto's city strike closed down many Canada Day festivities tomorrow, but there are still plenty of things to do to celebrate the True North Strong and (especially) Free. Four Reasons Why Baldwin Rocks

Aside from the fact that this tiny village shares the same name as the always-awesome 30 Rock genius Alec Baldwin, it's my home away from home. If Toronto were an Oreo cookie, Baldwin Village is its irresistible center. It offers a flurry of activity -- from trendy crowds on Queen West to bohemian artists near OCAD and the redesigned AGO.
