Fish and chips: This is the best because its fast, delicious and full of crazy tea pots. we get the same 65 year old waitress every time we go and she is right to the point and the food is hot, crispy and delicious.

Lunch time cafe: At spadina. There is one near my house in bloor west that has been there for years, but the one on spadina really stepped it up a notch with the crazy gourmet snacks for all meals of the day and its great little eat in area. I work right around the corner and they have free samples from something delicious almost every day!

Ground coffee: They roast their own coffee, they are a block from my house and you can smell it roasting! They have the best espresso forte. It is fair trade but they are not all hippie about it, so the store is not over the top political about it. Its a rival of starbucks any day.

Afternoon snacks: This is a great place near my work with collossal cookies and great lunch time snacks. It has an aweseom parisian feel and it makes my soul happy to be in there antime, especially when getting away from work!

Breakfast: It is delicious and full of young people with a cool vibe. The BEST muffins every time i go and wicked good lattes served with animal crackers! I love squishing into the tiny restaruant with lots of locals and even waiting outside and shopping in the weird designed vintage shop next door.
