Lots of baby stuff, poor service: My husband and I bought a kiddy-board from them. It broke down about 3 weeks later - after very light use. It turned out to be defective (according to the manufacturer) and they told us to go back to the store for an exchange. When we went back to Macklems for a new board (we had the receipt and box, too) they refused to give us a new board until the owner looked at it. Days after promising to get back to us, I called and was told nothing had been done and it hadn't even been looked at - "you are not our only customer, you know" said the manager. I had to call the manufacturer and have them harass the store before they agreed to get us a new Kiddy board. My advice is - there are lots of great kids shops out there with less hassles. A real disappointment given that they claim to be a "family-owned business." I say for excellent baby stuff and service try "Moms to Be and More."
