Vince Gasparro's Meat Market

Rated this place:

857 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON, M6G1M3

Butcher: These guys pretty much have everything you need: great organic chickens from a local farmer, some great lamb and veal, which they'll cut in any way for you, and probably the best t-bone I've had in the city (and I didn't have to pay $27 per pound either). They also have a good selection of Italian sundries and the best, thickest tzatziki you'll ever taste.

Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar, Restaurant

Rated this place:

9 Church St., Toronto, ON, M5E 1M2

Local restaurant: Everything is amazing. I love the poutine, even if it's not real poutine (no curds?!!). The cheese plate is always at the perfect temperature. The wine list is extensive, and you can get at least twenty wines by the three ounce glass; imagine the variety. The coffee is also very tasty. It's from Balzac, but it just doesn't taste as good at home.
