Le gourmand: The coffee is much better than Starbucks or any other chain. It's cheaper, too! A medium costs only $1.31 after tax. Compare that to the $2.05 at Starbucks, or the $1.98 at Second Cup.
The coffee goes from de-caf up to mild, bolder, and boldest.
The cookies are tremendous. They truly are the best gourmet cookie in Toronto. Big, chewy on the inside - crispy on the outside; a meal in itself.
The staff are always friendly and quick (Yonge/Bloor shoppe).
