Mercatto is a great restaurant to go to any time of the day. It's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and serves classic Italian fare. You'll see a lot of "suits" at this place as it's located in the heart of the financial district. I came here a little while ago early in the morning to meet a friend. It's a nice alternative to a regular coffee shop. I had a coffee and my friend ordered a cappuccino. It looked so good that I came back to this place the following week and had a cappuccino. Now I know what she was raving about. There’s a perfect amount of espresso to foam. It’s an all around great cappuccino. I also love that there's an outdoor patio with comfy seating.
