All the salons you mentioned are great, however you missed one of the brightest gems on Queen West! Essensuals Hairdressing (679 Queen Street West). This is an off-shoot of Toni&Guy, the biggest salon company in the world!! Essensuals is the Miu Miu to Toni&Guy's Prada. Cool people, laid back atmo. All the education and quality of Toni&Guy with-out the corporate feel! The Stylists at Essensuals are some of the best around!! Most shops I've been to the staff and stylists are very intimidating and sometimes RUDE! My stylist at Essensuals is one of the nicest people I have ever met, everyone there is nice! It took me 3 visits to realize my stylist was the OWNER!?! He had none of the usual ego or cockiness of all the other salon owners i've seen. He says "salon environment comes from the top, if the boss is a jerk then the staff will be jerks". Nice.Try them out!! Ask for Andy!www.essensuals.com
