You probably already know it but if you don't you definitely should. though you may not understand the theatrics and yelling going on, the energy is undeniable. and so is the food. lightly seared salmon sashimi, rich and delicate pork belly stew and jellyfish salad are just few highlights of the broad menu.

It was the first to introduce Vancouver to Japanese style tapas and the down-to-earth Izakaya (Japanese bar) culture. Even its website suggests you to forget everything and get drunk like the Japanese. And it does get loud and crazy later in the evening. The place makes you feel like you are actually in Tokyo; definitely not your regular westernized Japanese restaurant where you consider California roll as sushi...

This place offer more than just sushi and sashimi. It's japanese crusine dish that you can't have anywhere else. I LOVE their yaki soba!! Sooo tasty!
