Elisabeth Legge Antique Prints Gallery offers an unrivalled selection of rarefied vintage prints & etchings to interior designers, art consultants & individual clients across Canada. The level of confidentiality is superb, as most clients/collectors prefer to keep their collections private. You may consider yourself lucky should you get past the gallery doors without an appointment. Recent renovations to the space have added a bright, light, luminous air perfect for viewing line/hatch-work/chiaroscuro details under optimum light conditions. It is at times difficult to discern whether one is on Hazelton Avenue in Toronto or on Portobello Road in London. Nicolas is an expert & master draftsman himself & is able to make the most complicated of custom frames, including the castle. Although, parking is inconvenient on this busy Toronto street, it’s truly becoming a ‘destination place’ in the World.

Elisabeth Legge’s only possible shortcoming may be that her lovely little Yorkville gallery is only open to the general public on Saturdays. Visits during the week demands a referral by an existing client r an appointment made with your interior designer/decorator. Either way it’s well worth the trouble as there’s nowhere else in all of Canada with a collection of paper based antiques of this size, scope or quality. Her husband Nick is a most competent framer, which makes it a convenient one-stop destination!
