The neatest thing about this place is that the servers are dressed in Victorian costume, most of the food is made in house. It's located on Main Street, Markham. The services is great. Your tea comes in teapots and it kind of feels like a your average tea party with your girlfriends, only now with real food and tea. Great place to spend an afternoon to chat away and relax. They do offer an authentic afternoon tea for two, but you need to call them advance.

It is such a different, beautiful experience. the atmosphere is great, the building is a renovated historical site. the service is impeccable and the teas, oh the teas. they bring your tea around to let you inhale it before brewing and graham (a server) makes excellent recommendations. the food is delicious (try the potato and parsnip soup -- uncannily yummy), and the desserts/scones are not to be missed. a great interesting date spot. great place for a date.
