Strictly Bulk

Rated this place:

2436 Danforth Av, Toronto, ON, M4C1K9

Bulk food store: They practically double as a health-food store, and can easily meet all of your non-produce grocery needs. Reasonable prices, and a seemingly never-ending "special price" on raw cashews and almonds. These guys have made cheap vegetarianism easy.

Buddha's Vegetarian Foods

Rated this place:

666 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON, M5T1H9

Cheap vegetarian meal

Cheap vegetarian meal: Portions the size of monsters for insignificant amounts of currency. You give them the currency, they give you the portions. Imitation duck is the topper.

Front Door Organics Inc

Rated this place:

415 Horner Ave, Etobicoke, ON, M8W4W3

Organic food delivery service: They make great efforts to use as much local organic produce as possible, which is key to sustainable living, guys. Great about replacing bad products too.

Sushi On Bloor

Rated this place:

515 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON, M5S1Y4

Vegetarian sushi bento box: Hard to pick, and I haven't been everywhere yet, but for $7 the variety of stuff you get is great. And yes, guys, there's plenty of lysine in this box because it comes with fried mushrooms - missing from most boxes.

Scotiabank Theatre (formerly Paramount)

Rated this place:

259 Richmond Street West, Toronto, ON, M5V3M6

Stairs: As a representative of the International Descenders, Toronto Chapter, I'm quite qualified to say that this is a top-notch, regulation-style flight of stairs for descending. Will probably remain champ unless those old-fashioned dunderheads at the CN Tower ever wise-up and open their case up for public and competetive descending.
