I will NEVER return to Ten-Ichi... EVER.: I haven't eaten the sushi here, but I would have liked to. My boyfriend and I decided to stray from our usual sushi joint to try Ten-Ichi and even drove through a snowstorm to get there.
We waited 10 minutes at the door (with no one around mind you) until the snotty male hostess showed up. When he did he asked us how many were in our party, we replied with "two". He then looked at us and said these exact words...
"Not tonight"
Uhhh... ok? I have never, ever been so outright and blatantly rejected at the entrance of a restaurant in my life. He could have been more polite about it, he could have given us a wait time, he could have given us a reason, but he didn't. We just flat out couldn't eat there.
Instead he tried to give us their business card and urged us to come back another time. I rejected his card, proceeded to laugh at him and walked out the door. I will never, ever, return back to this restaurant, EVER.
