Brar Sweets & Restaurant

Rated this place:

Great Vegetarian Food: If you are in the Etobicoke/Rexdale area you have to visit this restaurant. It can convert any carnivore to vegetarian . You will never miss the meat. Anytime we go visit our parents we generally stop by for something. The thalis are amazing but I will recommend the best Cho-lay Ba-tu-ray in the city. :)

delicious value for the money: One of the best pure vegetarian restaurant in Toronto. Sambar, Dosas, idily, and Vadas are all top notch. Anytime we get a craving for south indian fare this is the destination we generally find ourselves drifting to. try it and you will not be disappointed.

Aroma Fine Indian Cuisine

Rated this place:

Very good meal with the best Naan in the city: brought hot, buttery, and fresh to your table... so try to hold off for a bit before hitting the buffet as they take about 10 min to come to the table...

Dhaba Indian Excellence

Rated this place:

309 King St W, Toronto, ON, M5V1J5

Awesome Comeback...: We (wifey and i) went to Dhaba twice, several years ago, before the restaurant makeover, and left wanting indian food. What they had was bland and not very pleasing both in the dining room and the kitchen. We went back the second time, because we believe in second chances, and gave them the benefit of the doubt, that they had a bad day in the kitchen. They didn't. We did not return for a good 4-5 years. Post Restaurant Makeover, after liking the transformation in the dining room, we decided to give the kitchen a second chance, and boy were we glad. From entering the restaurant to going over the buffet they have done a full 360. Now they actually have indian food and it is GOOD indian food. I won't say anything stands out over anything else but for a completely satisfying meal from start to finish, and great service, this place is hard to beat. try to get a table at the front window day or night... a very cool, casual, laid back eat for us... i love the fish pakora's at the end of the buffet with the seafood biryani rice and the gravy from the chicken Masala... :)

Trimurti Indian Cuisine

Rated this place:

265 Queen St. W., Toronto, ON, M5V1Z4

Best Tandoori Chicken in Toronto!!!: Hands down!!! Soft, flavourful, and most of all juicy!!! Been going monthly if not weekly for over 5 years now... they haven't slipped yet. The Lamb Keema, when they have it, is also to die for. Makes me think I am back in India all over again...
