Place to get great photo art, Place to spend a saturday morning: There's a fantastic photographer tucked away in the basement of St. Lawrence Market who set up shop a year ago. He sells photos of local scenery and Ontario landscapes and the quality is great. The pics are terrific and they're great for decorating an apartment or house without costing a fortune.

It's my favourite place in Toronto. You can satisfy every delicious craving known to man at the Market, not to mention pick up some unique gifts like salts, honey and crafts. I love getting fresh breads and pastries, an Italian panino and unique cheeses everytime I pay a visit.

Rua Vang Golden Turtle Restaurant

Pho: The service is super fast which makes it an ideal lunch spot. Always crazily busy, and catering to families, groups of friends and local workers, Golden Turtle serves the most delicious pho in town. And, you might even manage a Susur Lee spotting if you're lucky.

Bistro: It's one of my favourite places in Leslieville. A great spot for vegetarian dishes and organic wine. It's a great date spot or a fantastic place to cozy up with a friend and chat for hours.

Burrito, Mexican joint: The burritos are hot (if you want them to be) and owners Vivian and John Martin from Mexico City are cool. The takeout space also has great quesadillas and a fabulous Chocolate Azteca.

They have cactus! (and burritos and delicious drinks)
