Melonhead Kids' Cuts & Stuff: My kids love getting their hair cut there with the chairs. The train is a fave, so is the monkey. And the TVs distract them so they don't fuss too much.

Place to bring the kids: It's free, easy parking and you really feel like you've escaped the city. Real animals, a barn, gorgeous flowers - all the classics - it's a pretty special place
