Artsy philosophical pool hall: "wisdom + pleasure" quality food combined with pool hall extravagance. art decorates the place, there is wired and wireless internet available, a/v projectors if you want to set up an event or presentation. s'cool.

Pool hall / bar / club: Affectionately known as "the raq", this place has a cozy bar atmosphere, great tables and sapce, and friendly staff. on the weekend it can get really loud, people showin' off, and its quite busy so it might do to aim to be a little considerate of the overwhelmed chef/wait staff :) if you've never been there... what are ya waiting for, even if you're no good at pool, go try it out :)

Wiener schnitzel: It's quaint, they specialize in German food and their schnitzel in particular is delicious with many varieties. White wine sauce, with swiss, mushrooms, veggies, etc.

Souvlaki: Hunter's is an awesome greek restaurant, i feel their homestyle greek fare can contend with some of the best in toronto. good atmosphere, good price, good menu. and their pizza's pretty wicked too :)

Vegetarian restaurant, Warrior: Wonderful, healthy food done exceptionally well and i don't feel any awkwardness when i go there as i do in some other veggie places.

Just really good, high quality, creative dishes. highly recommended :)

Bar: A really cool experience. oldest bar in toronto, with a truly interesting history. the staff are friendly and skilled, the wings + beer are great. its dark and bar-like and i just like it. :)

Cafe: The food is interesting and high quality, the staff is friendly, the waitresses and patrons are beautiful, and the price is more than reasonable. great for a snack, a meal, or dessert. and they recently renovated for an even better atmosphere/experience!
