My sushi - all-you-can-eat sushi: For only $17.99, you can eat all the sushi, shrimp tempura, beef teriyaki, etc. you want! It’s not a typical buffet but you order off a menu. The restaurant is pretty small; I’d say it seats about 30 at the very most. The staff are so friendly and you don’t get “cut eye” for ordering more sushi. I can’t wait to go back, even though my appetite doesn’t do it justice.

Hakka, szechwan & hunan cuisine: Since we’re on the topic of Hakka food, another good place to try is Ming Room if you live out in Mississauga or if you’re ever out that way. We had hunan beef, salt ‘n pepper prawns and a shrimp fried rice. It was very delicious but the portions were smaller than Lin Garden and Spicy Dragon and the prices were quite a bit higher. The fried rice was good but I noticed they used salad shrimp. Anyway, it’s still worth giving it a go.

Hakka chinese food: I’ve been eating at Lin Garden for years now and it’s awesome! You get a lot of food for your money. We live out in Etobicoke and still drive to Scarborough for crispy beef, house squid, chili shrimp and shrimp fried rice. Their shrimp pakoras are delicious and a lot of my friends rave over the chili chicken.

Rocco's plum tomato trattoria: We love this place! The mussels, calamari and seafood linguine is the best. Service is good and you get a lot of food (good for sharing).

More hakka chinese food: A friend recently told us about Spicy Dragon in Scarborough. This is a must for all of you who love that spicy, Indian-style Chinese food. I would suggest ordering the Spicy Dragon beef and spicy salt & pepper shrimp as they are out of this world. Prices and serving sizes are okay but not as much bang for your buck as Lin Garden.
