After-work bars: Ok, might be a little biased because it's so close to work and I haven't done much exploring yet, however this is a great place to sit by the water when it's hot and have an after-work drink or meal.

Indian food: I've eaten at a bunch of good Indian restaurants in Montreal, and they all serve beef. This is the first Indian place I've tried in TO, and they don't serve beef for religious reasons. I was impressed by that, and loved the food. Made for great leftovers too. :)
