Starbucks Coffee Co

Rated this place:

1909 Yonge St, Toronto, ON, M4S1Z3

Title: Starbucks is pretty much every corner of the city and while it’s not technically “free” at first.. all you have to do is put $5 on a Starbucks card and use the code provided on it to get 2 hours of free wifi a day! From my understanding, it lasts until they make it explicitly clear that you need to refill your card, which doesn’t look like it’s anytime soon :) GREAT for iPhone users without a data plan ;)

Laywine's Pen & Organizers

Rated this place:

25 Bellair St, Toronto, ON, M5R3L3

Pen and organizer store: Located in the heart of Yorkville, Laywine's has the most thorough selection of pens, journals and organizers I've seen in Toronto. This is THE place I go to for all my journal needs. Laywine's reminds me of a boutique shop straight of the 50's with their hardwood floor - exudes an atmosphere of warmth and charm that isn't found in many boutique shops in Toronto...

American Apparel

Rated this place:

533 College St., Toronto, ON, M6G 1A8

T shirt store: Provides some of the highest quality t shirts I have ever worn! I have band t-shirts that have lasted more than 8 years and still feel soft, supple and comfier than ever before. They have a plethora of other clothing items besides t-shirts like hoodies and tights, but this ground breaking socially conscious store was first known for their t-shirts :D

Hot Dog Stand

Rated this place:

St. George & Harbord (Outside Robart's Library), Toronto, ON, M5S 1A5

Hot dog stand: Outside of UofT's monolithic Robarts Library, this place is a MUST for UofT students or residents of the area for a sausage or hot dog. They have a HUGE assortment of condiments and $2.75 Italian sausages to boot! I don't know any other hot dog stand in Toronto that can match or beat that sort of value being offered!
