The staff at this huge cheese shop will shave you off a sample of any of their hundreds of imported cheeses. Just remember to ask the price before you order, or you might find yourself with a $50 chunk of rare cheddar. (But you might buy it anyway, because it's better than anything you've ever tasted. In other words, leave your credit card at home, and don't go if you're feeling hungry.)

Apple Wood Smoked Cheddar. It's a phenomenon. Here's a hint: Go to the St Lawrence Market and buy the maple syrup glazed bacon. Then make an egg, over easy. Toast a crumpet. Layer bacon, egg and applewood smoked cheddar. Rejoice.

On the Danforth...Guiness Cheddar is an absolute fave...and the clerks are very friendly. They carry some great artisinal breads and coffee beans too!

I go to the one in the beach and I am always happy with the cheese and service. Once I was making a very large batch of spanikapita (I know I spelled that wronge) and the gentleman working gave me a great tip that saved me money.

They have a great assortment of cheese. More importantly they have wonderfully knowledgeable staff to recommend the cheeses

You should try the Sprintz, and the Tete Du Moine - you will talk about it at parties and your friends will think you're crazy because you are so obsessed with this new cheese that you tried BUT you will feel compelled to rave about it.
