This chain's always had decent food, but the location on Yonge, just north of Sheppard, it the best of the group. The staff are personable, and will make you feel at home.

First timers should take note that the portions, especially the rice dishes, are generous. My first time there ended in several styrofoam leftover containers. An all-time fave on the menu is the tandoori platter. It's large enough to share (3 people snacking or 2 people starving) and tasty to boot. Since most entrees come with either rice or naan, a sensible order for two is an entree and one of their many sides. I recommend the tandoori platter with naan and some channa masala on the side. Yum!

Bhatura

Its sometimes hard to find a good indian place with decent prices, good portions, and high quality food, that also serves the wonderful puffy, rich bread that is bhatura. mmm. plus its close to north york centre station :)

Butter chicken

I am not a big fan of spicy food but this dish was something special. So Creamy and Tasty!

Indian chaat

Authentic Indian chaat. Best I've had in Toronto. The 'Sev Puri' is particularly good. Bombay Bhel's also got a decent regular Indian menu, and their portions are astoundingly large. I ordered 'Achaari Kabab' with fries (delicious), and it was a meal fit for an ogre.
