There's something about Book City, which manages to retain the feel of a neighbourhood bookstore even though they have locations all across the city. Whenever I come here, I head straight to the 'New and Noteworthy' table; then I make my way back past 'Quality at Low Prices'. I was pleased as punch when the Carrot Common location expanded, doubling its size.

I just love strolling around the aisles and checking out all the titles. They also have great staff recommendations. I have found some of my favourite books from their display tables.

Not sure what it is but I get a cool vibe from the store whenever I go in....and they usually have cool stuff on their sale table!

They're small, open late and their staff are usually very knowledgeable. They seem to have a real love of books and I've always enjoyed their recommendations.
