I love Forever 21 but I have to say, I have better luck on their website sometimes. http://canada.forever21.com/ The store's at Yonge& Dundas and Fairview Mall just sell out of stuff too quickly! And it doesn't take a genius to figure out why; great fashion pieces at the lowest prices around. Even lower than H&M.

Summertime is the perfect time to stock up on fun (and cheap) fashion jewelry from Forever 21. I'm talking $2.99 earrings and $5.99 necklaces. And you'll love them, because this store always sells imitations of the latest runway looks. The store also sells women's clothing. The quality is not that great -- the clothes tend to last a season, but it's cheap, and the trendy stuff you buy here will likely be out of style in less than a year so it's worth it. I like the fun tops and easy dresses.

Trendy on a budget

It's pretty hard to keep up with the trends, but an instant way to update your wardrobe is to use accessories. If you hit Forever 21 you can find a lot of accessories that are on trend and of the moment but not too hard on your wallet. Similar to H&M, Forever 21 is about what fashions are currently hot and what you see in the magazines. Though definitely for the younger set, you can find a few key and wearable pieces. I would definitely suggest Forever 21 when shopping for gifts for teen and pre-teen friends and relatives.

I don't know if I'm just imagining that the pastures are greener on the other side of the border, but I think that they have better clothes at Forever 21's in the U.S. In the same week, I went to stores in the States and Canada and found the selection to be completely different. That said, I usually go nuts when I shop at the American stores, but always leave empty-handed from the Yonge St. store.

Not worth the price

I am not a very big fashionista, so I guess when I come here, I feel like it resembles an expensive H&M. Plain pieces that probably look best when layered with something else is not really my forte. However, I'm sure there are finds that make this place better than their cheaper competitor, but for now, I'll stick to digging through with Winners.
