For some reason I always confuse this place with Fly Girl, just steps away from Girl Friday's college street location (and which is also lovely, just not the place I often mean).

Girl Friday always has great items to fill a wide range of budgets. So, while you can go in and drool over some of the more expensive items, you can still leave with something wallet-friendly.

Girl Friday has a huge selection of quirky and fun separates and some classic items with a twist, like lime-green trimmed beige trenchcoats.

I love the Girl Friday line of dresses by owner and designer Rebecca Nixon. They are very flattering on all shapes and sizes, and the prices make me happy. Nixon comes out with a new collection every season. The shop also carries great clothes (from popular labels), accessories for every day (work or play), and always the latest styles. This is a place I visit regularly, like once a month. I'm not alone either -- Canadian celebrities Sarah Polley and Rachel McAdams are also known to be fans of Girl Friday.

There is something for every body type and personality style at Girl Friday. They have a great mix of smart casual, casual professional, and evening attire from which women can choose. The staff is always smiling and wanting to help.

Carrying brands such as Vancouver designed Dish jeans; Level 99; Odd Molly; numph, and Gentle Fawn, Girl Friday is a great place to shop for day wear that does double duty as great date wear when you're heading off to dinner and a movie. But, the best thing is, perhaps, the wide range of prices -- you're almost sure to find something you like at a price that suits your budget.

Trendy, fun and friendly clothing boutique in Toronto. Consistent and dependable as the name suggests. Two great locations downtown - for a quieter experience 776 College in Little Italy, or before stuffing yourself with Terroni's pizza visit 740 Queen West.
