Earth friendly household supplies

Rated this place:

I’ve been a little bit in love with this store since I bought my first Diva Cup years ago, an act that literally changed my life. Now I think of it as the place to go for basics like all-natural household cleaners and neat-o gadgets like the two-in-one flashlight and radio unit, for those blackout emergencies (it even has a solar panel and crank so it will literally never run out of power. Everything from toilet paper to wine glasses is available here, and if it can be made from recycled materials in some sort of earth-friendly way, you can bet it was. I like the way the place smells, too – kind of like beeswax candles.

Shopping

Rated this place:

Kind of like an old-school dry-goods general store. Neat ecological products and ideas for home, office, kitchen and garden, as well as a great selection of books on community and environment.

Green household products, Winter gardening workshop

Rated this place:

Whatever you need to live with less impact, this Toronto institution has got it. cleaning products, body care products, garden items, ethically produced clothing, housewares, and more more more. have a browse and find one or two ways to live greener with ease.

Where else can you learn all the ins and outs of hydroponic sprouting, starting seedlings for spring, growing season extension, composting at home, and all this other great stuff, with a community of other folks interested in optimal health and sustainable eating? Fun and foody and green!
