I'd heard so many great things about this upscale Indian restaurant, but I was extremely disappointed at my visit.

The food was bland, greasy, and overpriced. The nicer ambiance and Yorkville location didn't make up for the mediocre meal.

Save your money and go to Banjara instead.

The Host

The Host is probably my favorite Indian restaurants in the city! I have never been disappointed. The servers are extremely polite, friendly and patient (this helps when you are with a big group!) and the food is absolutely delicious! Start off with the Mila Zula platter! Some of my favorites include the garlic nan, Tandoori Murg, Murg Mirch Tikka, aloo gobhi, khumani steak, chana masala….I could just keep going on and on…I l think I pretty much love everything at The Host! And don’t shy away of taking the kids with you. They love the popadoms and butter chicken is usually a hit with all!

Tandoori chicken

A frequent at The HOST Mississauga ,near square ,I think it's a beautiful restaurant . The restaurant offers a diverse menu and serves a contemporary cuisine with some unusual mixes. I can recommend the Tandoori chicken,Nan and rack of lamb. For curries butter chicken is amazing, the best I've had in years! The quality is matched by passion for creating innovative Indian cuisine, good service and an intimate atmosphere.

The servers are fantastic at telling you what to have. They are patient, kind and, thank God, have a great sense of humor. The mango drinks are perfect when your mouth is on fire.
