Toronto’s own poutinerie
Rated this place:
For a lot of people, their love of post-bar poutine started with Bubba’s in Kingston. Whatever the root cause, it’s great that Toronto now has Smoke’s Poutinerie for some late-night, post-bar noshing. Open until 4 am on Friday and Saturday, they offer tons of different kinds of poutine from traditional, to veggie, to meat-lover specials (like the Hogtown with bacon, sausage and onions.) All the drinks are non-alcoholic and include a selection of cheery Pop Shoppe bottles. And there’s a giant blackboard for some late-night scribbling. Just upstairs from Burrito Boyz. (Another great post-bar institution.) Word is that new locations are in the works, including one in the Annex.
